The agents of a powerful foe are on the move. Their liege, the Dragon Lord, is a being that moves from one Reality to another concurring all in his path, both mortal and god alike. Where so many others had failed, this world had succeeded in destroying the Dragon Lord.......at least for now. Because his soul is fragmented across all the worlds he had visited, it was impossible for the Gods of the World to stop his resurrection, time and time again. This was the truth to his success. He never stopped.

The Burdened, a group of powerful mortals, sacrificed the future of their children, altering their bodies and using them as components to an incredibly powerful ritual that bound them to the realm, and somehow made it impossible for the Dragon Lord to enter their world again.
